Blood Diner (1987) - 7/10
Cheesy but funny. Very 80's. Loved the deep fried head scene. Dozed towards the end so I may try to catch it again before it leaves FEARNet on the 15th.

I'm so freaking bored. The Mr. has some extremely boring Pirates baseball documentary on (the game was rained out) and he's sleeping. I can't get the remote away from him.

Thanks for the heads-up. Wish I'd posted a thread about this. (Kidding, kidding. Not in the face! Not in the face!) I couldn't remember if I'd seen it on the board and couldn't find the thread (unless it was in the remake thread). Sorry.

At the Oaks Theater tonight and tomorrow night at 10 PM. Tickets are $7. It's a 35 mm print but they list this disclaimer:
Please Note : This print of the 84-minute unrated version of the film is not a new print, and so it is highly unlikely that it is uncut. We apologize for any confusion the write-up in the City Paper may have caused. Thank you.

I thought the deaths were fairly adventurous for network TV. I don't mind the soap stuff since I'm a girl.
It was slow last night - lots of characters to introduce and set up the story. I'll check it out next week.

This is related to Time Warner and Bright House Cable.
Bright House serves Florida. Time Warner Cable serves customers in the following 28 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
So if your cable system is not TW or BH, you're not losing FEARNet. Yet.

No. We will still have it here (Comcast owns FEARNet). It's being dropped elsewhere by other systems.

Thanks for the heads up. The only thing I watch on CBS is How I Met Your Mother and I haven't seen any commercials for this yet.

Weird being here today instead of being off because I switched yesterday to an off day due to the weather.

Sammy has slept in my room the last two nights. I've started leaving the door open when I'm up there watching TV and he comes in, looks around and then lays outside the door in the hall. Thought I'd experiment with leaving the door open at night because the heat/air circulation sucks when the door is closed.
So for the last two nights, he's come in sometime during the night and sleeps on my feet. No paws in the face, no walking across my boobs. It's cool!
