Whoa. CBS is making a slasher miniseries. Looks like it's got some potential. Click here for the official site.

It's network TV so my expectations are low. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised.

It's network TV so my expectations are low. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised. There's an interview with one of the creators up at various websites. He says they actually went balls out with the murders while filming with the hope it'll be restored on DVD. So, yeah, that'll be edited but maybe more will get by than expected just out of sheer volume. I'm also hoping it'll A)be worth sticking around for 13 weeks and B) it doesn't get yanked should it be good.

Premieres tomorrow night at 10. ER got canned, so you have no excuse.

Thanks for the heads up. The only thing I watch on CBS is How I Met Your Mother and I haven't seen any commercials for this yet.

Thanks for the heads up. The only thing I watch on CBS is How I Met Your Mother and I haven't seen any commercials for this yet. No prob. I don't watch much CBS, either, but I caught the airdate thanks to banner ads on practically every horror site I visit. In fact, I think the only thing on CBS I manage to catch these days is KDKA's morning news.

Yay for people tied to boat motors and for what may be the most creative way to get around network censors to show a dude cut in half.
Boo to the soap-opera shit.
Not loving it...not hating it. I'll give it another go next week since this was pretty much all set-up.

I thought the deaths were fairly adventurous for network TV. I don't mind the soap stuff since I'm a girl.
It was slow last night - lots of characters to introduce and set up the story. I'll check it out next week.

Week 2 - three more deaths. Last one was cool. I mean hot.
The soap opera stuff was kind of a drag this week. And I didn't like the dead deer.
Another one of these meh shows that I have to watch again because the last scene hooked me in for next week.

Oh no. That means I'll be hooked too. Damn them. I didn't watch this weekes yet but I hate when the show is eh and they keep reeling you back in.

Missed it last night...because I actually forgot it was on. D'OH!
Thanks for keeping spoilerfree, Dee. I'd imagine this'll be online anytime now, so I'll hopefully catch it this weekend.

Just finished watching the second episode. It's on the official site. (Yeah, I linked again for those who don't feel like going to the first message.) Better than the pilot. It feels like they're getting better at balancing the soap with the scares, although you could get a hell of a drinking game going with the fake-outs. The last death was great, but I'm wondering why the first character to die in this episode was targeted. Hmmmm... Also loved the preview of things to come. Looks like business is really gonna pick up as the weeks go by.

Gotta rewatch tonight's. I got sidetracked for a good chunk of it. Cool ending, though.
