I won't be able to make it. I've been informed by the Visiting Nurse that I am housebound. If I go, it will be a violation of my Medicare Insurance. I can only leave home for a doctor's appointment. I told her it kinda was cause I was gonna go see Dr. Pus. She didn't buy it. So have fun everybody !! Thanks, SJ. Take care of yourself and we'll see you in September.

Davy Jones. Hey, hey we're the Monkees. I was a little kid when this was going on. The TV show is still funny. He'll be sadly missed by all his fans. Yes, this makes me really sad. Loved the Monkees and had a huge crush on Davy when I was a kid.

Andrew Lincoln ( Rick from the Walking Dead ) was on Letterman last night. I never knew he was British. He's also married to Ian Anderson's ( Jethro Tull ) daughter. You may be able to catch the interview at CBS.com. Its right at the end of the show. Too bad the interview was so short. Get out! That's like Bill from True Blood, he's British too but pulls off a pretty good Louisiana accent.

Just a reminder kids.......... The Walking Dead returns tonight at 9:00 ! Enjoyed it! Although I was a little bummed at the short stint by the guy who played Rene Lenier from True Blood. Was hoping he'd be around for more than one episode.

Two events going on this year in honor of Women in Horror Month: Near Dark 35mm Screening Friday, February 24, 2012 10:00pm until 1:00am The Oaks Theater 310 Allegheny River Blvd., Oakmont, PA 15139 Horror Realm and The Oaks Theater team up to present Near Dark, a 1987 vampire film written and directed by Kathryn Bigelow. Bigelow went on to become the first woman to win and Academy Award for Best Director for her work on The Hurt Locker, which also won an Oscar for Best Picture of 2009. Near Dark was Bigelow's second feature film and stars Adrian Pasdar, Jenny Wright, horror veteran Lance Henriksen and Bill Paxton. Kathryn Bigelow wanted to film a Western movie that departed from cinematic convention, which at the time was strongly identified with the films of John Wayne and John Ford. When she and co-writer Eric Red found financial backing for a Western difficult to obtain, it was suggested to them that they try mixing a Western with another, more popular genre. Her interest in revisionist interpretation of cinematic tradition led her and Red to combine two genres that they regarded as ripe for reinterpretation: the Western movie, and the vampire movie. Admission is $8. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Pittsburgh Action Against Rape. All paid admissions will be entered into a drawing for a pair of tickets to Horror Realm's Spring Break Massacre & Zombie Gras on March 10 at the Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South. I wasn't happy with last week's episode with Maura Tierney playing Robert California's wife or am I to believe that behind every powerful male executive is a fearful husband? That episode annoyed me because of how poor Andy was being batted around by California. Just mean. Even Michael Scott was never that mean to Toby.

It's great to have so many choices!
I voted for AHS. Really creepy and out there, and I like the Rosemary's Baby-like storyline. It's coming together nicely with new info revealed each week.
We don't have Showtime but I did watch the first season of Dexter when it was free On Demand and really enjoyed it. The idea of Harry's code really appeals to me.
Walking Dead is another must see show for me. I like the story and the character interaction. Have not read the comic.
True Blood is a big thumbs up and I would have voted for it if it were on right now.
I tried watching Death Valley and did not dig it. Way too forced at trying to be Reno 911.
Haven't caught Grimm yet. Haven't heard of the others.
