Cinema Wasteland was a blast, as usual. I finally got to see Zombie! Zombie vs. shark, splinter in the eye - awesome!

I've been part of Cinema Wasteland's staff since 2001, I missed the first show in 2000, but have been to all rest. Conventions in my area-(Chicago)- are terrible, not worthy of discussion.
This past April show was fun-(as usual). I had a somewhat comical conversation with actor Ian McCulloch, about his first film IT-1967. In the movie, Roddy McDowell-(RIP) plays a museum curator who finds a scroll, that enables him to bring a golem-like statue to life, to do his bidding. I asked Ian about working with Roddy McDowell, and after saying a few nice things about him, he mentions that Roddy was "exceedingly gay", so much, that he was making passes at one of the film's stuntmen. Not my place to pass judgement, but it was funny to hear about that ;D
