So what would be or is your perfect day of horror? For me it's waking in October to see the leaves have changed and the cold winds are whipping around. Getting outside to put up the Halloween decorations. Carving my pumpkin. Heading out to Kennywood for Phantom Fright Nights. Coming home and watching "The Thing" and "Dawn of the Dead."
Simple but to me it's perfect. I was just curious how everyone else spends or would like to spend a satisfying day enjoying horror.

I have many. A day at a good convention. On a friday the 13th taking the day off to watch horror flicks all day. Friday the 13th is preferred cold or cool outside but warmer days are good as well.
Mmm, I love the smell of dead leaves in newly crisp air.

I have an old VHS tape on which I'd taped Son of Frankenstein, The Wolfman, Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, & The Invisible Man. I have it on the TV every Halloween while I give out candy. Often it's followed up with a classic rerun of The Green Hornet entitled "Alias the Scarf" with John Carradine as a strangler. When my kids were small, they used to protest against the old horror movies---not coz they were scared, but coz the movies were in B&W & it horrified my kids that I would watch anything in B&W.

A weekend, on the couch, cuddled with my wife, watching our personal favorites....we seem to do that as often, as our schedules allow us to. She loves the Hammer films from the 50's, 60's and 70's, while I'll gravitate more towards something with cool monsters and/or stylish murder scenes.
