Oh balls! My neck is starting to act up again. Damn it! Hooky day is close at hand. Hooky day! Hooky day! Why don't you go to a doctor instead of dealing with this every week.

Not sure. Games n at is BYOB. You might remember we had to wait a while for the bowling alley to open the bar last year. I'm wondering if we need to pick up a case of something for Friday. I'm thinking cans since we will be on the move. Let me know what you guys think. I can pick it up tomorrow. well since no good beers really come in cans, i'll just bring my own. i need my Straub Dark! Beer is the key motivation on Hooky Day for me so, no beer = no bradster.

i'm trying to watch the Panthers and the Pens play simultaneously. I'm taping the Pens and watching Pitt. Hoping to not see the Pens score so I can watch it after. I agree with you about cans vs. bottles for beer but I figured for the stuff we are doing tomorrow cans would be easier. Sorry about that.

Enjoying the first day this week that I could actually go out and enjoy the day. I've had a nasty, stuffy head all week: well enough to go to work but bad enough to make the week drag on forever. So I went on a random road trip, drove about 50 miles past Ligonier, and encountered either heavy fog or actual clouds. Kinda spooky, too, because for about half an hour or so I was the only car on the road.

It's official: God wants me at Cinema Wasteland this weekend.
Unfortunately, that doesn't mean I got Saturday off to go. Seeing as how I haven't done a Saturday shift since January, me getting another one off ain't happenin'.
However, I dodged what I thought would be a massive repair bill. On the way home last night, I stopped at Arby's for a bite, and my car made this horrible banging noise. Turns out the heat shield and a bracket for the exhaust were loose. Took it to the shop, and they repaired it for free! No charge at all.
Can't wait for Sunday!

Today, I learned why I take the Monday after a convention off. Nothing is more difficult than going from being around awesome people to being stuck around a gaggle of morons in the space of a little more than 12 hours.
