the line ups are never that great. I want to see Tony Todd, and Kane Hodder, and people from Friday the 13th and Halloween movies..I feel like all the other conventions that have those people and like Robert englund are soo far away! I am shocked pittsburgh does not have these special guests..I moved here about 5 years ago and have yet to see these people on the guest list. I have gone to cinema waste land once time, they had sid and Myers from Halloween 4 there. That was the best convention I ever went to lol my dream is to meet kane and tony todd and rob! I am hoping one day this convention will grace me with their presence. Rant over

mamamyers,
I believe it is difficult for small business and recent start-ups, like HorrorRealm, to attract upper tier celebrities (even in horror). Everyone has a price and special needs; plus schedules to contend with. However, Pittsburgh has a dedicated horror following so hopefully it will continue to grow. For example, the upcoming HorrorHound Weekend, in Cincinnati will have an impressive reunion of 'The Walking Dead' and 'Evil Dead' including BRUCE CAMPBELL. I'm thinking about making the trip out there...

Kane Hodder canceled for Horrorhound in Cincy this weekend. Tony Todd was a guest at the very first Horror realm in 2009 and Kane Hodder was a guest at the 2013 Spring Horror Realm I believe. Fall of 2013 a few actors from the Nightmare on Elm Street movies were there and PJ Soles was there and she was in a Halloween movie.

Mamamyers, have you ever been to Horror Realm? We created the show to be a fun, relaxed weekend where fans can meet other fans, hang out, check out some cool vendors, watch independent films, participate in contests & panels, party and meet horror TV/movie stars and authors. It's never been out intention to turn into just an autograph show like some of the larger cons. We try to offer a good mix of guests for a reasonably priced ticket. We are not yet at the level where we can afford to bring in big names like Englund or Campbell or Reedus.
Sorry if you are just finding out about our show but since we started the show in 2009, we have had Kane and Tony and Sid as guests as well as: - Bill Moseley - Danielle Harris - Heather Langenkamp - Nicholas Brendon - Nivek Ogre
Our next show is in August and we have a Day of the Dead reunion including several cast members who have never been to Pittsburgh plus Lew Temple from The Walking Dead. Hope that you give the show a chance if you haven't been there. We have a special $10 admission on Sunday so it's not much of a loss to take if you come and don't like it.

We welcome suggestions but can't guarantee that we can get them. Depends on a number of factors including schedules and budget.
