I just got back from the convention and I wanted to say I was seriously impressed.. The staff was nice and knowlegeable, nothing was clutering and hard to get to. And it was all around a positive experience..
I also had one question..... Programs were out when I was there, and I kinda have a pet peeve about having them for my collection.. Is there any possible way to get one sent to me? I will pay whatever costs need be to get one?
Thank You Mike

I also agree. I was there for about 10 hours Saturday and I had fun every minute. It was really great to talk to Ken Foree and the other actors and actresses. Can't wait til next year.

I really had a great time this year, as a past visitor this year was one of the best by far the dealer room was spaced nicely if a bit sparse and everyone was very friendly i only have two gripes, tables and chairs outside of the dealers room were nigh impossible to find and there was really an area for people who wanted to play board and card games with other besides Amputheatre(which was great) so a seperate room or more room would be great the other was that one of the vendors near the very from to the dealers room was selling t-shirts (stop bitching and start a revolution-Zendik) which is are the main funding for a "Communal farm" which moves around depending on how bad they get into dept. The money from the t-shirts go directly to the farm's coffers. I encountered these Zendik people in DC selling literature and t-shirt, i bought one and then later did research into the farm itself and found that it was some sort of cult. Its a place where the matriarch controls the entire structure and operation of the farm. The conditions are reportedly horrible and people are forced to labor as the zendik farm attracts most of its "members" from broken households and tries to keep people there for as long as possible whether through physical or mental intimidation. I would just like to know that the horror realm convention not encourage funding of the cult through the proceeds of the t-shirt sales zendik.typepad.com/arol-wulf-zendik-pov/2009/09/is-zendik-farm-a-cult.htmlemeraldimajia.livejournal.com/www.washingtoncitypaper.com/cover/2005/cover1104.htmlangrysummerquietfall.blogspot.com/2008/07/zendik-follow-up-they-are-cult.htmlwww.hipforums.com/newforums/archive/index.php/t-203668.htmlhere are some of the many websites that support this many of which are written by people who used to be in the "cult"

We ran out of programs at one point and had to wait on a reprint. I'll PM you for your address to send you one.

Thanks for the nice remarks everyone. We did our best to try and make this a positive experience for everyone.
I am certainly interested in trying to discourage negative merchandise from being part of our show and am glad you brought it to our attention. I will have to visit the links and learn more. We obviously can't know everything about everything so we are always happy to have help from our friends on this board.
Anyway who didn't get a program can send me a PM with your address and I will send one to you.
Thanks again for supporting the convention!

I honestly was so busy running around that I did not get time to even look at vendor tables until everyone was breaking down today. I don't know anything about the shirts that you are describing.

You guys closed down the ball! Thanks! We had a great time at the ball and Ken Foree was an excellent host for the best costume contest. The Magic Hat was certainly flowing last night and we did our best to drink as many as possible! Overall an absolutely fantastic event!!

I have a complaint. Two, in fact. When I registered back in May, I was promised a neck-to-nuts rubdown from Iron Rich, which was never delivered. Also, no early bird specials in the dining area. The Blue and White tours always provide both. Other than that, great show.
