This is such a great show that I went out and bought the whole series of books that the show is based on. Sam Raimi is a producer. Wizards, dragons, swords and shields, and a lady in tight red leather ....... what's not to like ? ;D

I found out this morning that they're canceling the show. Not because of ratings, but because of syndication and sponsorship. Surely the SyFy channel will pick this up ?! My whole week is ruined........F*CK !

For anyone interested, there's a petition to save Legend of the Seeker. This is honestly the only show I watch every week. The cast is great, the scenery is fantastic and the writing is good. www.petitionspot.com/petitions/LOTS3Thanks............ SJ

I didn't know how to tweet it, post it, buzz it, or myface it, but I did sign it, despite never seeing the show either. Let's hope it does some good.

I've signed a couple different petitions to save the show. It needs to go on, it's just getting great.
S.J. How are the books? Are they much different than the TV show?

I've signed a couple different petitions to save the show. It needs to go on, it's just getting great. S.J. How are the books? Are they much different than the TV show? In the books, Darken Rahl is Richard's father. That's just one of the differences. Kahlan is the Mother Confessor before she even meets Richard. Richard has a great, great, great uncle who's almost 1000 years old. Denna keeps coming back as a spirit after Richard kills her. There was no one around to give her the breath of life like on the TV show. The books are great though. I'll be at HR on Saturday and I'll bring along the first book for you to read. ( It and all the books are 600+ pages each. There are 11 books in the series. I'm on the 8th book again and am enjoying them even more the second time through.) There was a campaign that was to start at the Comic Con to help keep the Seeker on TV. I'll have to check and see what went on as far as the show.
