Sittin' In With Lightnin' Hopkins, the greatest of all the bluesmen. He made more music with his guitar & a pair of bottle caps nailed to his shoes than any 10-piece band. If he's not in your record collection, then it's incomplete.

Bob Dylan - Together Through Life. Woefully neglected by me ever since Christmas in the Heart came out, but not any more.

Lady Gaga. My daughter asked me to download this to her MP3 player. Figured I better give it a listen. Not a bad singer. A lot of the songs have that dance club feel to them but her voice isn't bad. Lots of songs that aren't going to be downloaded onto my 7 year olds MP3.

Might as well give the kids culture at an early age.

Gary Moore : Bad For You Baby. Why is this guy so overlooked ? I dunno - this has baffled me since the 70's. He's one of my biggest early influences, and one of the most spontaneous and passionate players to ever pick up the instrument in the truest sense of the word. A real blood 'n' guts player capable of incredible sensitivity. His outro solo on Thin Lizzy's "Got to Give it Up" from Black Rose is still one of my all time favorites...

If Buck Dharma duped me into thinking that playing guitar was easy (which, of course, it's not...he just made it seem that way), then it was Gary Moore who gave me the big smack down. Stick to playing Smoke on the Water on your big brother's Silvertone, kid. You're never gonna be this good.

Pete Sinfield : Still. Originally released in 1974. Sinfield was the lyricist for King Crimson until 1973. Then he started to write for Emerson, Lake and Palmer. He and Greg Lake were friends. He can't sing for sh*t, but his lyrics are nice.

Let me know if you want me to post 'em here or if you'd prefer it be done by PM or email.

Uriah Heep : Magician's Birthday. I remember hearing this on Christmas Day 1972, standing Firewatch in 80 degree weather. Every time I hear this, it takes me back.

Traveling Wilburys Collection. I found it in the bottom box and blew the dust off it.
