The Mrs. got home in time for her doctor shows. No Office, no Pitt. Stupid crap. These doctors spend more time having sex than they do helping patients. No wonder we have a health care crisis.

Good episode... looks like the show's back on track now that Jim isn't managing anymore.

Good episode... looks like the show's back on track now that Jim isn't managing anymore. All they really need to do is ramp down Dwight's crazy to a believable level and they'll be back on track. Although, Michael is still more annoying than funny at present...

Michael was pretty good this episode. He was pretty realistic. However, Dwight is just over the top unrealistic.
*Spoiler Alert* Do not read any further if you haven't seen the show!
I did however enjoy him throwing the various weird weapons out of his car window and the cop saying "Pull over Dwight". I also loved when Pam breast fed the wrong baby and that nurse was awesome. "Oh, so you know everything."

Just watched it on demand. If you missed it the first time & you have the dreaded Comcast as your cable provider, you can watch it on demand for a few weeks.

Good episode... looks like the show's back on track now that Jim isn't managing anymore. I'm glad Jim Tracy isn't managing any more, too. I thought the show was back on track....but then they traded everybody. Waitaminnit....you are talking about the Pirates, right?

Not digging Kathy Bates. I think the shark has jumped.

My wife met Kathy Bates when she was cast in a movie where some scenes were filmed at UPMC Presby. Says she's a very nice lady who was wonderful with the hospital staff, unlike others who were in the same movie.

Not digging Kathy Bates. I think the shark has jumped. Huh. I like her, especially as a foil to Michael's rather unbelievable recent über-obtuseness. The character may be a bit too eccentric, but her obvious intellectual superiority to Michael on his turf was kinda fun to watch him try to handle. Dwight's too-crazy shtick has to stop. It's becoming unwatchable. I don't think it's Rainn Wilson's fault, because he's certainly executing, but the writing is ridiculous. He was much more believable as a farm nerd who lived in a delusional world of his own that was only partially and intermittently externalized. Unless they're going somewhere specific with it, it's gotten preposterous. If a shark has been jumped, I think it's in the overall neurosis factor. Dwight has become Creed, Michael no longer has any redeeming characteristics and has acquired more repellent ones, Jim and Pam aren't even allowed to be funny anymore, and most of the supporting characters that added texture and variation to the landscape have been totally marginalized - all their neurotic energy having been squeegeed into the principals.

i dunno. i don't think things are as extreme as you're all makin them out to be. sure a lot has changed, as it should throughout the years but, i think Michael's the same as he ever was. Dwight is more action now instead of talk. It just needs to be toned down some. i don't feel that it's "preposterous" though. Plus, they're both focused on more now that Jim and Pam are lame. but that might start to change cause Jim's outta the management position and the wrong baby scene last week was a step in the right direction for them being funny again.

Sorry but that crap last week about the cabinets was preposterous. Someone did that to my house, they'd be in jail. Or dead. Megadesk was more in keeping with what Dwight could realistically get away with. As for Michael, you may be right. It could be that I just have had my fill of him and now want to shove a knife in his eye and stir his useless brains a little...
