i remember when A Nightmare on Elm Street first came out, it was scary. probably the last movie to truely scare me.

I had nightmares and had to leave a light on for 6 months after I watched "Rose Red". I watched all 6 hours in one day, so that could be part of why it was so intense for me.

I can honestly say I've never been scared by a movie. I love them and their stories but this isn't the kind of stuff that scares me.

as a grown up: yes, i slept with the lights and radio on after The Blair Witch Project and (sigh, believe it or not) the House on Haunted Hill Remake -- bust my balls. go ahead.
