Hey all,
I was just wondering if anyone here was planning on bringing a video camera/a camera that can record video. My digital--a Nicon CoolPix--can record video, but only for up to ten minutes at a time on high quality (which isn't very high quality at all.) I'd really like to have video taken of the con (particularly the author panels, but all parts of it as well,) so if anyone has a camera and is willing to record stuff, I'd really appreciate it.
Hopefully I'll be bringing my laptop, so any interested parties can just dump off the day's recordings onto it so they won't have to worry about filling up their digitals (considering you're worried about it anyway, haha.)
Thanks again,
~ Kody

Are you serious? Of course people will have cameras. I'll be bringing mine for sure(it's my first con). I can record video at 720p. Got a 4GB card in it too. Can get about an hours worth of video at that quality.
If you're bringing a laptop we can meet up at certain points and you can copy the video so I can get everything on there. I'd love to chronicle the entire event. Hope to see ya there!

Video cameras are permitted at the convention. However:
- Celebrity guests aren't to be taped without their permission. This includes the movie discussion panels. - Same goes for the author panels. - No videotaping in the movie room. - Anyone with a video camera should stop taping at the request of any other persons at the convention.

Quick update -- I'm bringing my laptop, so people can feel free to track me down and dump their stuff up on me.
