Where do you see these two times? On the website it has Giant showing at 7 and Dead Snow at 9. If you can confirm that there is an earlier showing of Dead Snow then yes I would be interested in attending that showing in order to avoid you. I'm going by the calendar Bruce handed out at the grand opening. It has Dead Snow at 7:30 and 9:30 this Friday, followed by Risen at 11:30. They have Giant listed for next week (the 11th through the 13th) with only one showing of Dead Snow those nights. Oh, and bite me.

I called Bruce. 7:30 and 9:30 are the showtimes. 9:30 is best for me.

Great film. Best Zombie Film I have seen in years. The Europeans once again have schooled the Americans on how to make good horror films. The camera work was near perfect, the acting was good, well written, good gore, good make up and costumes. Just an all around good movie. Scary moments, funny moments, witty. Solid story. This is must see.

What they said. Damn Swedes...five bucks says they make a kick ass werewolf movie next since they've already spiced up vampires and zombies.

What a horribly, horribly terrific movie! Just absolutely disgustingly perfect and gorgeous! Incredibly painful to genuinely laugh at funny writing. Ok in all seriousness, this will be a classic. It is almost perfect, definitely perfect in these times of horror movies. They managed to get beautiful, funny, and a great script all rolled up into one. Not something you see very often any more. Haven't left the movie theater with that feeling in a very long time.

I probably would have enjoyed this - sounds like you guys all did. Unfortunately, I have to get up an hour earlier every day this week, because I'm driving to OC a week from today, and we do that in the middle of the night (I go to bed @ 6 and get up at midnight Friday into Saturday for the 2 AM departure). I'm not an adaptive sleeper anymore, so I have to crank in back a little at a time. Going in the other direction is easy - just stay up as long as possible and flop into bed at the point of exhaustion, and I'm reset the next day!

Getting old's a bitch (not really - just inconvenient timing). Where's my Postum?

I really liked this too. The humor/scare/gore mix was just right for me. Nice to see zombies in the daylight for a change. Beautifully shot.

I didn't even give the daylight thing a thought until you mentioned it. I liked that too, and it helps that the makeup was quite good. (I want a General Herzog figure. Please.)
