My GF and I are con veterans. We have been attending both horror and comic/sci fi/anime cons for years down in central florida. We decided we need a change, thus our interest in Horror Realm. My question is, outside of a great guest list, what else can we expect from Horror Realm? Film screenings, panels, activities, parties?
Also, is there a VIP pass that will be going on sale soon?

I should have been more specific, I apologize. The cons we have attended in the past are known for late night activities and parties. They have bands playing, rave like parties, and parties around the pool area. Basicly I am trying to get a feel of the night time activities of the con.

Everything will be posted on the website soon. But to give you an idea of what's coming: Film Screenings- We will be showing some movies that you have probably not seen before. We have been given the rights to a couple of Zombie films that are making the European circuit right now but not the U.S. They are a lot better than I could have hoped. We have some other films that are independent with some nice production value. And of course we will throw some old favorites into the mix. We should end up showing between 12 to18 different movies over the weekend. The remaining guests that we are confirming will determine the panels but there will be panels. Some of the activities: Make up demo's, Jason mask art contest, jello brain eating contest, Trivia contest, tattoo contest, flash fiction contest. Some other things in the works. We are working on a party for Saturday night. Those details will be available soon. The main hangup is deciding to have it indoors or outdoors. September is usually a very nice time to be outside in this area and the hotel has a great pool/party area. But we aren't sure we want to role the dice with an outdoor party unless the hotel can give us a good alternative set up if the weather doesn't work out. The weekend pass is basically our VIP pass. Hope that helps and I promise over the next few weeks there will be full details for all of this.

Thanks Rich. That is what I was looking for. We are highly picky about what we attend, and we are burned out with the florida con scene. Right now, you guys are on the top of our list of cons for us to attend.

There is a bar in the hotel and a liguor store beside the mall. There maybe an after convention thing in the works but I have no details yet.

We have an inflatable coffin cooler we plan on bringing ready to go for the weekend. Like I said, you guys are top of our list. We are picky about what we attend and we try to get as much info as we can before we decide.

It should be easy spotting you at the convention.
