First, read this story. Okay, so it's looking like direct to DVD...except one of the readers supposedly contacted the director through Myspace and got a "it's not entirely true" answer with an announcement coming from San Diego Comic Con and/or Fango Weekend of Horrors. *sigh*

I feel like I'm going to be forever teased by the possiblity of viewing this movie. I can almost imagine a double feature DVD of this and London After Midnight.

I picked up the Blu Ray during lunch. Can not wait to get home and watch this movie! your kids will enjoy it I don't think I will show my kids a movie that has tits and a fair amount of violence. I liked the movie. Visually it was great. I wish I lived in a town that did Halloween the way they showed it in the movie. The story was good but not great. I think I'm going to have to watch it again to figure out everything that was being told in this story.

And for us '80s kids who giggled with glee when Fluffy chomped down on Adrienne Barbeau or when Stephen King yelped "Meteor shit," this is just what the doctor ordered. Funny, Halloween atmosphere, nice twists on classic horror/monster stories, and even some nice gross-out gags. My big gripe, though, is it's way too short; it's just barely over 80 minutes and a good chunk of the deleted scenes on the Blu could have gone back in without dragging things out too much. Really enjoyed this one...but I also think it'd be even better in a movie theater with a good crowd. Thanks, Warner Bros. Pricks.

You do realize my children are 7 and 5, right? How the heck did you expect me to know what you meant when you said my kids will enjoy it? I see what you guys are saying. I would let a 12 or 13 year old view this movie and I think they would like it. I still think there is a lot there that goes unnoticed with the first viewing that will make this movie a strong movie for adults.
