ROTLD on the big screen! i must have been tense or some shit because i didn't find it as funny this time around. it kind of scared me. so go ahead & bust my balls. it's a great movie, though. It wasn't as funny because of all the wanna be comedians in the crowd and the inappropriate time to laugh people in the crowd. Just my opinion but I think that is what made it seem less funny. it's funny you say that because i was totally thinking they were laughing at the oddest parts.

Chopping Mall at the Hollywood tonight. First time I've seen it. The kind of horror I enjoy - tinged with humor.
I can't wait to see Dead Snow and Zombieland.

i caught this on showtime the other nite. pretty cheap and cheesy but a nice attempt to something different... or maybe i was just bored and had nothing else to watch. i dunno. i liked the guy's mask though.

Chopping Mall last night was a little less funny last night as well. This being that a comedian was sitting a person down to the left of me. But you have that from time to time in these types of events. Nice place and very comfy seats. I'll be frequenting the Hollywood often.

Good thing you didn't stick around for the other two movies, then. We got the flashlight shined on us. Naughty, naughty... Chopping Mall was as fun as I remembered it being and then some. Cry of the Winged Serpent and Vampire in Vegas? Uh...um...thank God for BYOB? And agreed on the Hollywood. I'm already making plans for Dead Snow.

I'm starting to watch Blood for Dracula (Andy Warhol's Dracula) but I know I won't finish it because it's a school night. The Count's servant reminds me of Herr Flick from 'Allo 'Allo.
So far, this sucks (no pun intended). Udo Kier is freaking me out.

Let The Right One In
Fantastic movie about the friendship between a loner kid and his new neighbor, who's also a vampire. Sounds like it could be worse than Twilight, right? Wrong. Even though it's deliberately paced and more concerned with character moments, it's genuinely engaging and heartfelt. And when the vamp action kicks in, it's surprisingly brutal.
Even better is that unlike a lot of recent vampire movies, Let the Right One In embraces the classic mythology with no shame. In one scene, in fact, we finally see what happens when a vampire disregards the rule about needing an invite to enter a home. (And no, despite the title of the movie, that's not a spoiler.)
Give it a whirl.

Final Destination - 3D version
YES!!! I thought it was great. For the fourth installment in a franchise that basically retells the same story, I was riveted to the screen. The build ups were very tense and deaths creative. And blood and body parts in 3D made me jump more than once. A fun film.

Final Destination 3D. So much fun. The 3D really adds to the movie. I jumped a few times and it was really cool to see all the gore in 3D. Yes same story but you know why you go to these movies. Good gore and how are they going to kill somone this time. I enjoyed this very much. Again 3D kicks ass!!!

Saw 2 other movies this weekend. Well 1 and a half really. The Halloween 2 remake. Not a fan. I think it was too much. To much lets try to get into the crazy mans head and to much of his grungy look. It's time for him to come up with a new look. I didn't hate the movie and I didn't like it either.
Poultrygiest = Sucks. That is all.

Just saw H2 at the drive-in. They had it with The Final Destination. Both movies were great. Final Destination wasn't in 3-D though.

I think I'm too close minded when it relates to Michael Myers. If it isn't the original Michael then I'm not happy.

The Haunting (1963)
This movie was on TMC last night and I've been wanting to see it ever since I saw the 1999 version. I don't know if it was that it was late and I was tired but this movie creeped me out! The cast was kind of lame but the house and sound effects were really neat. I jump a couple of times due to weird loud noises.
