The Odessa File. This was a great movie. I had seen it in the 70's and Crackle has it available now. Right now, I'm not sure if I read the book first, or bought the book after I saw the movie. It was about tracking down former Nazi SS soldiers in the 60's. The Odessa File was a list of SS soldiers still alive and their new aliases. I'd give it a 9 1/2. It needed more ass kicking and shoot - em- ups.

"Last Man on Earth" ..... for the bazillionth time. I never get tired of this bestest adaptation of Richard Matheson's "I Am Legend". Creepy, sad and riviting, it's a must see for the fan of horror.

What I liked about LAST MAN ON EARTH, was how Price's character is just barely hanging on, by a thread. A great performance, you can really sense his desperation. When he finds the dog, you can't help but feel his elation, and gradual dispair.

Used Cars. Honest to God, if you can sit through this one without laughing, there's something wrong with you. The dog alone will kill ya. I hope they never try to remake this one. It would be impossible to equal or even come close. Trust Me ;D

USED CARS is a riot, especially Gerrit Graham. Great cast too-(including Lenny & Squiggy).

Finally watched Paranormal Activity. I thought it was quite comical until the end which had its scare factor. The funny thing is I woke up around 3am the next morning forgetting that I left the light on in the living room. Naturally that got me thinking and I didn't fall back asleep.

Bad Girls From Mars. Have you ever watched a movie and about every 20 minutes or so, you ask yourself, "Why in the hell am I watching this ?" This is one of those. Then I guess every 20 minutes or so, they flash some boobs and you say, " Oh yeah. " Cat fights, dumb cops and a wafer thin storyline. Nice boobs though.

Love Bites. Maybe, but this movie does for sure. I was looking for a good vampire movie and what do I get ? Adam Ant as a vampire. At least Bela Lugosi and Christopher Lee had some dignity. Of course they were playing Count Dracula. I'm not sure what kind of vampire this was. He wanted to be human. It was funny though. No boobs . Judy Tenuta is so annoying. Yes she is in it.

Resident Evil : Degeneration. I didn't like it. I really hate the animation they use today. The storyline was good, and should have been done with real people. The dialog was typical Japanese translated into English....... a little awkward and sometimes ridiculous. I was going to shut it off after about 10 minutes, but thought maybe there might be some socially redeeming quality eventually. Hey, I was wrong. Like this is a surprise to anyone. The only positive...... I didn't have to pay to see it. Crackle had it. Every so often they have something decent, but not this time.

Flight of Fury. Steven Segal. Need I say more ? Plenty of ass kicking, guns blazing, grenades, C4 and some air combat. A top secret plane is stolen by a pilot and flown to Afghanistan. So the US sends good old Steven Segal to retrieve the plane. The plane is the next generation Stealth fighter that can become invisible. Nothing like a good ass kicker. Navy and Air Force combined effort. Crackle RAWKS !

Flyboys. I would have paid to see this one. Before America joined in WWI, the French needed pilots for the air war. This movie is about some American volunteers who went to France for the chance to learn to fly. Evidently, this was based on fact. The stunts were done well and the story was solid. I saw this on HULU. Since they don't keep really good movies around for very long, I may buy a DVD of this one, along with Von Richthofen and Brown. 5 outta 5. What can I say ? It was a week of Aerial Combat.

A/k/a Tommy Chong. A documentary about the events leading up to his incarceration for selling drug paraphernalia ( Glass bongs.) He was prosecuted in Pittsburgh. Its kind of funny and sad. But he kept his humor about it.

Rainbow : Live In Munich 1977. Wow !! Depending on how you feel about long guitar solos, this could be great or a drag. The concert is over 2 hours long and only features 8 songs. This happened the day after Blackmore got released from an Austrian jail for kicking a bouncer in the jaw for roughhousing fans. He had a lot of aggression to get out. Dio, Cozy Powell and Blackmore make up the core of the band. There are very few drummers I like. ( Powell, Vinnie Colaiuta, Ginger Baker, Terry Bozzio and Chester Thompson.) Three played with Jeff Beck and three played with Zappa. Two played with both. Cozy Powell was a monster of a drummer. I got to see him with Beck and Emerson Lake and Powell. He really over powered Emerson and Lake, needless to say. But truly a great movie. Great sound, great video.
